The idea

Transparency as the aesthetic: the studio that publishes its prices designs like it.

The whole identity is built from the artifacts of honesty — ledger rules, published numbers, fine print set large, an open dashed seal that never closes. Spectral's light editorial serif gives it literary confidence; the mono face does the receipts. This is the direction that most loudly answers the avatar test: Susan's "look like a firm, not a craft fair," Hank's "prove it," Dev's "say the ownership thing loudly."

Warmth lives in the voice and the cream paper — never in decoration.

Cobalt is a different species from Suitcase's near-black navy — bright, modern, editorial   zero script, zero whimsy, zero EMG   no travel iconography at all — the brand mark is a seal and a number   furthest of the three from L&L's register

Paper, ink, and one bright cobalt signal.

Three colors, used like a well-set contract: paper ground, near-black ink, cobalt only where it means something — the ampersand, the underline, the price, the button. The discipline itself signals "firm."

Spectral speaks, Plex Mono proves — and the ampersand is Freight.

Working faces are Google Fonts (free): Spectral Light is the editorial voice; IBM Plex Mono carries every number, price, and label (the "receipt layer"); Public Sans does quiet body duty. The brand ampersand — the one flourish, everywhere it appears — is Freight Display Pro italic (Adobe license). In final logo files it ships outlined as SVG, so the public site carries no Adobe dependency.
